Carbon Date

Hey guys,

So i'm wanting to create something mainly because i'm a volunteer staff member for an organisation in America. I live in New Zealand so the time difference is i'm 16-17 hours ahead of EST.

Now, this organisation has a Endweek and a Midweek report,

Midweek EST is 12:00am Wednesday/Thursday Endweek EST is 12:00am Saturday/Sunday

Midweek NZT is 4pm Thursday Endweek NZT is 4pm Sunday

Throughout the week, i need to find the hours since Endweek mainly, but sometimes midweek to the current date. I'm wanting to create a web app (i use valet so i could just name it time.dev and open in browser) and as i open it, it will tell me the hours since endweek and the hours since midweek.

I'm obviously thinking about using Carbon but not sure how to approach this?

Small recap, I open the web app, it displays the hours since midweek and the hours since endweek. Then it must reset for a new week etc.
