Can't Use SQLite

Did you create the sqlite file? database/database.sqlite is the default I believe. Can you also paste your config here?

I did create the database.sqlite file and the config is:

Your default database connection is mysql - you should change that!

OK, so there's your problem; delete this line

DB_DATABASE=homestead

or change your database.php config:
