How to create your own podcast player?

Is it possible to create you own customized podcast player?

Assume I would like to use https://github.com/greghub/green-audio-player as my audio player or create my own https://css-tricks.com/lets-create-a-custom-audio-player/, how would I connect the audio player with my RSS feed?
