The clickable area is same as the title button, jeffrey just set the hover area opacity to 0 when not in focus, perhaps he is doing it for the purpose to ease others to browse to the previous/next episode, but agreed that sometime it's kind of annoying when the watching on mobile or screen is small but the title is long, it reduce and limit the clickable area for pausing the video, anyway, it's ok for me as viewing it on monitor...
