I am interested in attending the next Laracon EU. Looking at the website of https://laracon.eu/, currently it still displays the last Laracon EU that was held last january. I do not know of any other sources or platforms to check.
If not known at this moment, what will be the best source to find out and keep up to date? And what is the usual frequency these events take place?
Usually it's once a year but it got messed up because of covid.
So the next one should be in 2024, when exactly - only when someone organizes it. Not sure if it will be the same crew and that it will be in Portugal again.
Just follow the official twitter for news, and laravel-news.com
@dirksamson No one really knows. The team that organised Laracon EU was the same team that ran the Laravel Certification, and obviously that relationship has soured a little with Taylor dropping them as the official certification partner. So I imagine if there is going to be future Laracon EUs, then a new team needs to be put in place.
I was also looking forward to the 2024 version of Laracon EU, this time in Amsterdam. But is it just me or does Laracon EU, with a ticket price of almost €1000 for 2 days, seem to be a party for only the elite?
@Snapey €1000 was of course somewhat exaggerated, but only to indicate that things are gradually moving in that direction. Unfortunately I cannot settle the VAT ;-) I thought Lisbon was around €600? And that is indeed apart from all the additional costs that come on top, as @Tray2 pointed out.
