Hi guys, I was thinking to implement in my current project a upload and streaming videos future. I never work seriously with the videos media in a website, but permit upload to others users videos there are some requirement to keep in mind in terms of architecture.
1- The size of a videos is much bigger then images, so I was thinking to store them in a Amazon S3 server. It can be proficient and enough?
2- Which plugin is more suitable for stream the videos uploaded? if possible cross browser and better for device as well?
3- The video uploaded should have some kind of manipulation once has been uploaded?
4- Which is your experience building this sort of future?
5- Are there some service that will simplify all those settings to make running a video upload / streaming service in no time?
6- Have you some suggest in how or what should be care of?

You cannot afford the risk of allowing users to upload videos with constant human supervision. Otherwise you will end up with porn and death related videos hanging on your website for hours.
Even youtube pause videos at the 200 views milestone for a human review.
Good to know thanks! That's make sense, well I may do something similar and before the video is public check as a human the content. What about the others points?
