Textual documentation of course

Hi,

Some months ago it was possible to switch between the video episode and a textual documentation (not the transcript) of what was presented in the episode.

Atleast this course had it: https://laracasts.com/series/servers-for-laravel

Was this feature removed or am I just blind?

It seems like you're having trouble finding the textual documentation for the Laracasts video series. The feature you're referring to has not been removed, but it might not be immediately visible depending on the layout changes or updates to the Laracasts website.

Here's how you can typically access the textual documentation if it's available for a specific series:

 1. Go to the Series Page: Navigate to the series page, in your case, Servers for Laravel.

 2. Select an Episode: Click on any episode you are interested in.

 3. Look for Documentation Tab: Once the episode page loads, look for a tab or a link usually labeled as "Notes" or "Documentation" beneath the video player. This section, if available, will contain the textual content related to the video.

If you do not see such an option, it's possible that:

 • The feature might be under revision.
 • Not all series or episodes include textual documentation.
 • The UI might have been redesigned, and the documentation could have been relocated.

If after checking you still can't find the documentation, I recommend reaching out to Laracasts support directly through their contact or support page. They can provide specific details or updates regarding the availability of textual documentation for the series.

Here's a simple example of how you might send a support request:

Hello Laracasts Support,

I was looking for the textual documentation for the "Servers for Laravel" series and couldn't find it. Could you please assist me in locating it or let me know if this feature has been removed or relocated?

Thank you!

This should help you get a direct answer from the source.

Thanks @laryai

I am unable to find the tab or button for this, but that was how it worked previously. I found out that I could atleast add "/read" at the end of the episode url to look at the documentation, but this feature should be brought back in my opinion, but there is probably a good reason for it being removed :)
