Stripe multi month coupon for yearly subscription

I only have yearly subscriptions. I want to be able to give my customers 1,2,3 or more free years. Let's say I decide to give them a promotion for 2 years free if they pay the 1st year. In this case I would need to create the subscription and then once the first invoice is charged apply a coupon to the customer that will last 2 billing cycles. It should look something like this:
1st year: Subscribe('plan'). Customer pays $xx. Apply coupon for 100% off for next 2 billing cycles.
2nd year: customer pays $0. Coupon should be still valid.
3rd year: customer pays $0. Cupon valid just for 3rd year invoice than it should no longer be valid.
4th year: customer pays $xx. No coupon before or after invoice.

I am seeing an option in Stripe for multi-month but the documentation is not really helpful in cases that are not simple.

Will a coupon like this work? Coupon: 100% off; duration: multi-month for 24 months (2 years).

Customer signs up in Nov 2015:
Nov 2015: subscription charge of $xx. Apply coupon. Should be valid 24 months.
Nov 2016: $0 coupon still valid
Nov 2017: $0 coupon was valid for last time.
Nov 2018: $xx charge

Is this how that option works?
