Simple Multiplayer Quizz Game

hey all

Im working on a project and there is a game i need to do in this web app. Its a simple 2 players quiz app.

Here is the deal, this is my first time with real time. this is kinda annoying because i really want to learn deep about real time. But the project time is really limited.

Im wondering which library should i use ? I was thinking socket.io but i read some stack over flow pages and they says its slow for a game.

Node-js scares my ass off because my js story isnt well either.

And is there any other way to do this ?

So please show me a way to do this, as simple as possible to make things realtime.

I will have to do this game 3 days later only in 24 hours. Backend things ok but front end not. I think im just hate all of front end. I miss you tables, none realtime browser games, i miss that times when backend matters -_-
