Set default value for the HTML Date Input tag on Vue JS, Laravel & Inertia Project

What can I do to pass a default value for the HTML Date input in this Vue, Laravel & Inertia form? I'm using v-model to implement a two-way binding for other inputs but seems like the date type input field isn't getting populated for some reason.

What should I do?
