Session's lifetime shorter on windows server

Hello,

I'm having some issues with the session lifetime. Local the session lifetime worked perfectly fine. After I moved my project to a windows server the lifetime of the session changed to about a few minutes. Does anyone have a clue how I can fix this?

Is it possible that is has to do with https?

UPDATE:

I found out that is has to do with the second laravel website that I am hosting on the windows server. After I removed that website it worked. Does anybody know why these applications are mixing with each other?
