roles

i am having lot of problems dealing with the roles,in laravel 5.3.i have tried almost all the packages and most of them donot work or are not stable.i tried voyager it have lot of bugs and and i only need a package with roles not any crud functionality.entrust does not work.if anyone have an idea about the package that is very stable and provides only roles not any extra functionality like crud.
