REST API - Lumen or Laravel

Hi, i want to start with vue. I wonder if lumen is suitable as an API. Or am I better off with Laravel? Do I have bigger limitations with lumen? Do all extensions run under lumen?

depends on the application you are building... the performance and how much load its gonna handle... if its just API you should go with lumen because its faster and can handle 1900 request per second.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to migrate an existing lumen installation to laravel?

Is there any point that might speak against Lumen?
