Is there a Laracasts promo code members can use to buy a PhpStorm licence?

Just grab phpStorm EAP version and you get many months of using the beta version for free. It's damn stable for a beta so you can freely use it on a daily basis until you are happy to pay for it once new version is released!

For all the freebies in the world of OSS, I have NO PROBLEM paying for phpstorm. I bill for my time and phpstorm is a great tool to have in my arsenal.

I agree that PhpStorm is worth paying money for whether or not you are a working coder or not. It will help you debug other people's code and help you write code. Its not really that much cash for how many hours you spend in it.
