PHPStorm very slow in OS X Yosemite.

Hi.

I am the only one experiencing PHPStorm to be very slow in Yosemite compared to how it was under OS X Mavericks?

I know the coming updates to PHPStorm will address Yosemite issues, but does anyone of you know of a fix to the performance issues?

Regards, Niels.

Not noticed a change in performance myself. I use latest EAP release.

We run it daily on about 10 macs in the office & are not seeing any issues. They all have at least 8gigs of RAM (most of them 16) & we have them using the latest JAVA by modifying the "JVMVersion" key in "/Applications/PhpStorm.app/Contents/Info.plist".

Did you use the latest Java that comes with Yosemite? Are you using a strong mac?

The latest EAP bundles java to get over the current problems. So far it has been solid for me and much faster at indexing and searching.

Thanks. I'm running a MacBook mid-2014 with 16GB ram and 2,0GHz Intel i7 quad-core. Processing power should be no issue.

I have just downloaded the lastest EAP, which is much better. But the one with bundled JDK also has terrible performance. Strange!

What performance issues do you have? There could be another reason...
