I would really follow the advice Snapey provided. I had often multiple questions on forms. And always Snapey or Cronix gave me the advice to ditch the package. Yes, I did use the form in a proper way, but still got numerous errors. And indeed if I change my code to regular HTML forms (based on their advice) , 100% of the issues were solved. But unfortunately it took a while before I really ditched the package.. But I never looked back.

I agree. Ditch it if you can and write your forms manually.

Finally two good replies on dropping that collective, BOOKMARKED. I hope in the future this reply will help others who refuse to let go.
