I saw all messages will be rejected, by I am not applying, I am just making a suggestion I hope you can consider despite your rejection policy.

I suggest you to better outline what you actually need this expert to do. From my experience senior/expert consultancy is easier to hire when the job is well designed, and explained.

At a senior/expert level, some developers prefer to work on database/eloquent issues, others in queues, others in API integration. And even if someone has great expertise on one or other trait, they can be not as an "expert" on the area you are hiring for.

This would save both yours and the candidates time.

I understand one can say a truly senior/expert should cover all aspects, but one thing is hiring for a long-term position, where someone would be willing to work on features they personally don't like or do not have a great expertise, but from their experience they will handle it.

Another totally different thing is applying for a short-term/consultancy in a field with a high-shortage of more experienced professionals and expect a senior/expert professional to apply regardless of the job that needs to be done.

I don't know if the position is for a short or long-term commitment, as far as the description, I guess only you know it for sure. My suggestion is to share more details if you expect any truly senior/expert to get interested on it.

A bonus tip (you said you will reject any messages, so I can't loose anything trying):

Laracasts is a support forum. Although nothing prevents someone to get in contact with another user based on their interaction -- as Laracasts allows users to add their social network links to their profile -- job posts like this are kind of unusual, specially when it is the first thread from someone.

From Laravel's official site, I guess you would be better served by advertising your position on Larajobs instead. It seems to be the "recommended" place (in the sense it is listed on Laravel's site) to advertise Laravel positions.

Hope this helps you =)
