money objects and form
Hello,
I have a form where people enters the payments amount. Now I found out that I can use a money object for this/
But I do not see how I can use this in a form, validate this and store in into the database.
Anyone who can shine a light on this ?

Hi, you have to implement additional layer of how to extract and hydrate your objects. You can use one of the Jeffrey lessons about transformers. Pretty much you have to write your custom hydrators and extractors for this, see how symfony 2 does this http://symfony.com/doc/current/cookbook/form/data_transformers.html or read about zend fw 2 extractors and hydrators.

Maybe there is a simpler way to make this work.
Maybe used a Bigdecimal instead of integer or float. So I do not have the float problems.
