Looking for a Laravel based Content Management System

I am starting a new project and the customer would like to have a mix of static content and dynamic functionality. I would like to implement all dynamic parts of the site using Laravel, but would like to use a CMS that plays nicely with it (or is written in it). In my trying out the available options, October CMS seems to have the best mix of developer and non-developer features, but it's still in beta.

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on a CMS that I should use?

Does anyone have experience with October CMS?

Is it too risky to use October CMS?

Risk is relative. It depends on what you're planning to use it for. I've taken a brief look at October CMS and I liked what I saw. If the beta has the features you need, it's the best option I know of for a Laravel CMS.
