Laravel Vapor S3 bucket bug

Hi All,

I have laravel vapor installed but every time i deploy it will create a S3 bucket like vapor-eu-west-2-xxxxxxxxx and with multi folders and files, this is costly is there a option to set it to one S3 the option storage: xxx in vapor.xml is not working.

The files that it creates are literally the files needed to run your app. If that's "too costly", then you shouldn't be running your app in Vapor and should be looking for a more cost effective solution. On top of that, 1GB/month of storage in us-east-2 is 2 cents a month. I recognize that some regions have slightly higher rates, but even ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo; typically has some of the highest S3 rates) is only 3 cents per gigabyte-month.

If you're spending more than a dollar a month in Vapor-related S3 charges, you're doing something VERY wrong. How many large media assets are you storing there?

@nexxai, are you going through old questions from weeks ago? Haha, if you carefully read the text above, you'll notice that it's not about gigabytes (Gb), but rather about the issue of Vapor generating random S3 buckets here. As for your mention of 0.03 cents, that applies to storage, and there's an additional 0.09 cents for data transfer, although it's not particularly significant. That sums it up accurately if we want to be precise ;)
