I'd absolutely looove to go, but have a vague feeling that my current level of knowledge is just short of being worthy of mingling with the masterminds at Laracon.

I would love to go to Laracon, especially to meet people I follow online and people who works with laravel and hear about their future projects

Hey everyone!

I live in the south-west of Germany and I started learning Laravel only some weeks ago. From the first moment on, I felt that this framework is exactly where the foundation of my private projects have been evolving to since years. I don't unterstand every bit and every concept of Laravel yet, as it is my first PHP framework in the first place, but I'm quite confident that I will get into it as time goes by!

I stumbled across the wonderfully made Laracast videos, the Laravel podcast and the Laracon, all of which are inevitable, I guess. After some serious thinking I decided to go to Amsterdam this year! However, I have to admit that 500 Euros is a lot of money, as I will go there privately and not for any company. Nevertheless, I absolutely want to experience this, learn new stuff, see you great guys speaking, get new contacts and friends and so on. This is worth it! I have many friends in the Netherlands, so I will organize my opportunity to stay the night by myself.

So, @JeffreyWay, @TaylorOtwell and whoever is as deeply involved as you, you earn my biggest respect and admiration for creating solutions like Laravel and social events like Laracon, thanks a lot!! I'm looking forward to being there and probably learning to know you.
