I've actually watched that series but the theme that Jeffrey sets up in there isn't the same one. I assume it's a Dayle Rees theme, but wondered if anyone knows what it is, or whether Jeffrey has made any customisations to it.

i don't remember it now, but surely he says it on one of those.

It's either Peel or Goldfish, from Dayle Rees.

Heres a similar scheme to what @JeffreyWay uses along with some live templates specific to Laravel feel free to download and use as you wish.

Thanks, Jeffrey... Neither Peel or Goldfish look the same for me in PHPStorm (I'm using the EAP). Is there any chance you could make that theme available for download?

Thanks, Istables - I'll check it out! I don't actually use Laravel, but it'll be interesting to have a look at your live templates anyway! :)

I like the FaceBook theme for Sublime. Does anyone know what else Jeffrey has installed in the latest video? The sidebar looks awesome, and I'd like to make mine look like that too with all the nice coloured icons etc :-)

Anyone know of a port of the FaceBook color scheme to PHPStorm? Or am I going to have to convert it myself? :-)

@mdavis1982 This tool should convert the .tmTheme file to an IntelliJ compatible theme (PHPStorm is based on IntelliJ IDEA), so this should work: https://github.com/JetBrains/colorSchemeTool

Every video should start with: "Here I have a fresh install of Laravel and my current sublime text/PHPStorm theme is [name of theme]" :D

I've done some work on a FaceBook port for PHPStorm. I was using the PHPStorm 9 EAP, so it won't import into PHPStorm 8.

I'd highly recommend installing the "Color Tree" plugin to color the sidebar the same color as the editor window.

The Facebook theme for Sublime really is possibly the nicest looking theme I've seen. I would love to find that for PHPStorm. I did find one person who made a similar one at https://gist.github.com/likewinter/abc3adfff2f610579f2d, but it isn't working quite right with the latest version of PHPStorm (I'm actually using the EAP version, so I'm not sure if it works with the official release).

you can always do changes by yourself according to your liking.
