Could another framework be better than laravel

why dont you try them and let us know
There are lot of frameworks for php out there.
Here are ten of them that you can try out.

I've only used CakePHP and Laravel and while Cake gives you alot of scaffolding for your views with basic crud it is not as easy to use as Laravel.
You will just have to try them one by one and see which you like the most.
wow, you have been really soaking up that training. 1300+ videos watched in three weeks, thats about 65 lessons per day !
You should be an expert by now. With all that TIME invested in Laravel, why would you consider any other framework?
Fortunately anyone that hires you off the back of your experience is going to quickly discover a fraud.
Many large companies write a custom framework, so I suppose a taylor made custom framework would be better than laravel depending on the use case.
Laravel is getting worse and worse in the new version 8, at least they can give the developers the option in the CLI to use Bootstrap or Tailwind and to use Jetstream or Vue or not.
I'm searching for an alternative too, although I'm a Laravel developer for the last 4 years at least
You can still use laravel/ui. Just install it and off you go.
@melewa If you have been using laravel for 4 years, it should be quite easy to just ignore jetstream and install laravel/ui as usual. Jetstream is something you can choose to use, but you don't have to. I honestly don't see how an extra option can make it a bad framework?

sigh... If you've really been using Laravel for the last 4 years, you would know that you are free to use any kind of front-end that you want to. On a fresh laravel installation there isn't even any kind of front-end installed for you; you literally have to pull what you want in yourself.

The FTSE 100 financial services company I'm working for did, and never updated it so its massively out of date, and buggy.
Any developer that suggests writing their own framework needs to get the bus to my house and I'll give them a slap.
