How to work with multinodes

I have to program an application, which will work as a system of registration where many students will enroll in a course together and the solution includes 5 nodes (Application Servers) and all accessing the same database. Suppose the case that multiple users vacancy last course they are played and recorded at the same time. What is the best way to develop the application to support this multinodes environment?
