Books Recommendations

Laracast is a great place to learn. but with visual and video learning, it is good to have some reading along side. I can see that there was a thread for book recommendation but it is quite old.

Can we have a list of book recommendations for PHP, Javascript, etc. This will be helpful for everyone. Share your favorite books :)
