billing without stripe
I am situated in South Africa and so am unable to use stripe. I have been struggling to get any form of payments up and am wondering if anyone can assist me with this

I mean an actual Paygate that has a good API like stripe.com. Not a connection package

Maybe take a look at PayMill -> https://www.paymill.com It depends on what paygate you want ( credit card, paypal or whatever )
And Omnipay is the same like laravels stripe "package". Of course you need a "package" to connect to a payment gateway

Your suggested paygate is also not supported in my country (South Africa) this will not work. Do you have any other suggestions?

As i said it depends which payment method you want. 2checkout, skrill, paypal are the common payment providers. Maybe http://paylane.com/ ?

Just scroll a bit down to the supported payment providers.

It doesn't depend on the payment method. I need a paygate that has support with banks in South Africa. paypal, stripe, skrill, paymill and paylane do not. PayGate.co.za is the only one I have found but they have a mess of an API and omnipay does not have support (probably for this reason). This is why I am asking

I reviewed the OmniPay list -- there seems to be a pack called PayFast -- if i am not mistaken this is geared for South Africa? your input would be appreciated?
