Best font for programming

I was looking for some color schemes to feel comfortable with my code editor and found really impressive themes (eg. Peacocks in Space...), but I felt as if something was missing... Yep, I realized my font was not as good as the one in the example picture. However, I think there might be some good recommendations about this.

I've just come across Input font and I'm trying it, but being honest, I kind of don't like the curly braces glyph, it looks a bit weird.
