Any idea on extending SoftDeletingTrait just so that the future deleted date is not excuded

Currently, in Laravel when using softdelete it sets the

deleted_at

column to current timestamp and the results are excluded from the future Eloquent queries. Do you guys have any idea so that if we set

deleted_at

column to future date and when we query the result is not excluded up until to that set date. Any ideas?
