Where are AWS Resources Created by Forge?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to Laravel and Forge, but I'm so happy to have a site up and running on forge now. I'm curious, though, where I find the resources provisioned by Laravel Forge in AWS? I assumed that it was spinning up an EC2 instance, but I don't find it in my EC2 dash.

What AWS services are being leveraged by Forge and how do I find them? I see them in my cost management area but there are no EC2 instances accessible or showing as running, even though my billing statement says I have an EC2/EBS instance.

Thanks!

Hey,

Make sure you are checking the correct region in the AWS console. If you are getting billed for an EC2 instance that means it's there.

Thank you! I found that two initial failed attempts at creating VM's through forge resulted in 3 running EC2 instances when I thought I only had one!

You saved me money!
