Yes I've had that issue when using a private repository that isn't mine.
Is that the case here?

Quick Deploy not working
I click the 'Quick Deploy' button and nothing happens. Look in Chrome dev tools and see a 500 error response to the post to:
https://forge.laravel.com/servers/12345/sites/12345/deploy
Anybody else have this issue?

yes! that must be it. I've been given admin access to it but I guess I need to be the owner.

Yes you do need to be the owner. I think it's a limitation Taylor has put in place to stop people from sharing Forge accounts. I'm not sure if it is available on the higher tier (for teams).
