Just bumping this question as i'm still interested if there is a way to get forge to re-recognize apps on a recovered drive/server

EBS Volume snapshot recovery
Hi Everyone.
I am looking for a way to recover an instance from an AMI image or EBS snapshot and be able to continue server management from the forge UI. Mounting an EBS snapshot and getting forge access is easy enough but its an empty template on forge. Is there any way to properly recover a server and continue management in forge? I have failed to find any documentation on this. Everything seems to relate to database backups.
