Can't get gzip to work in my Forge Digital Ocean droplet

Hi there,

I think I have tried all the configurations and articles I've found on line.

I've tried to config both /etc/nginx/nginx.conf and /etc/nginx/con.f/gzip.conf files; I guess this gzip.conf file is included in the general config so can't have same config twice.

Of course I have restarted the service ;)

I have also followed the specific Laracast at https://laracasts.com/lessons/how-to-use-gzipping-to-decrease-file-sizes-by-seventy-five-percent which seems a bit old...

But no matter what I do; when I visit any on line gzip check it says gzip is disabled.

I'm using https (let's encrypt installed through Forge)

Any ideas?
