Serving MIX versioned files over CDN

I noticed that if I do .verion() while mixing my js and css files; the mix-manifest.json file in public directory gets a version associated with it.

On my server, I use CDN to serve all the css and js files. I"m wondering how'd this work if I'm going to port all my files to CDN (Amazon S3 and CloudFront)?
