I can't find reference to a package that is failing to install

After installing laravelnews/laravel-twbs4 as per this thread... https://laracasts.com/discuss/channels/laravel/laravel-bootstrap-4-implementation

when I now run NPM INSTALL DEV it fails as it tells me that it can't install as [email protected] as it is only available for Linux (I am running Windows).

Ideally, I'd like to reverse all the changes that installing laravelnews/laravel-twbs4 made. I have removed the line "laravelnews/laravel-twbs4": "^1.3" from composer.json and run COMPOSER INSTALL but when I run NPM INSTALL DEV again, I am now told several other packages are not compatible with Windows. Where do I find the references to these package and what is the best way to revert to before I ran laravelnews/laravel-twbs4?

As for upgrading to Bootstrap 4, I think I'll start a new thread on that to see what the current best way to do it is.
