Blade with jade

Recently Laravel has switched to webpack and introduced Laravel Mix. I was wondering if it is possible to compile jade templates into blade ones in Laravel Mix and if not, whether there is a workaround to use npm package laravel-blade-jade (https://www.npmjs.com/package/laravel-blade-jade) within the Laravel Mix?
