im new in ubuntu , when i switch from windows to ubuntu Got this error

what can i do ? i installed stage-3 "npm install --save-dev @babel/preset-stage-3" and what is exactly stage-3 and what kind of babel we need for vue laravel ? ERROR in ./resources/js/app.js Module build failed: Error: Couldn't find preset "stage-3" relative to directory "/home/thesogafoi"
