Cannot connect github to laravel Forge site

I am unable to connect Github Repository to Laravel Forge Site .I am a newbie ,experts advice is required. What i tried.

1. Ensure the server's public key (~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub) is added to the source control account.

2. Refreshed the source control token under your account settings, and ensure it's connected to the correct source control account.

3. this is private repo and the repository not belongs to any organisation.

4.I tried with un-checking "Install Composer Dependencies" and deploy key , also tired by checking both and any at a time .

1. Ensured that branch name is correct. e.g. "main" .

I am really frustrated and spent my two days on it still i couldn't make it work . i tried to connect to support but still unable to fix it . i came to know of this platform . i am hopeful experts here can guide me so i can solve it.
