Search tables' column data with Nova

How do I get the search input to actually search for results in my tables' fields ? Right now its always empty for a search term that exists in a column, say Name.

You have to make which fields are searchable per Nova Resource for the given model.

class UserResource extends Resource
{
    public static $search = [
        'id', 
        'name`,
    ];
}
