Back-end Lumen and Front-End Laravel

Hello! Since Lumen is faster in API requests. Is it good to combine Lumen and Laravel? Lumen as a back-end and Laravel as a front-end. Possibly, there might be time that the application I am creating will have mobile app version aside from web app version.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hi, well, I think that you will provide some API End Points with Lumen,

and you will fetch them to your Front End Application,

and I bet that you will fetch those end points with JavaScript,

and at this point I don't see any reason to use Laravel.

What you are going to do with Laravel in front end?

@batoy28 Marginally. We’re talking milliseconds. If you’re building your front-end website in Laravel as well I’d just combine the API into the Laravel application.

Splitting the API into a separate Lumen application is just going to complicate development as you now have two applications to maintain, share models between etc.
