Close Modal if state is dirty?

Is it possible to chain confirm with dirty? I have some Livewire components that are used on a show page as well as a modal on that same page. I want to sync the two states together but ALSO, if the state in the modal changes before they submit, I want to confirm. Otherwise, just close as normal
