Can Livewire components be extended like regular PHP classes?

I have a question about Livewire.

• Let's say I have a Livewire component called A.
• I want to create another Livewire component called B that extends A with additional functionality. (Each component should render its own separate view.)

class A extends Component {}

class B extends A {}

Would this approach work in Livewire? Are there any potential issues or best practices I should be aware of when extending Livewire components like this?
