I search for some alternative to openvpn...
In laravel 10 app I use external API which is not supported for my country. Googling I found a reference to vpnbook-openvpn-us16 and installed it.
It helped me, but in time when openvpn works my internet works very slowly.
Is it common feature of all vpn utils? Could you please advice some other vpn utility(with free option) as alternative to openvpn without such effect on my internet?
I use Chrome under kubuntu 22.04...

@mstdmstd You can try these options:
- WireGuard – faster and easier to set up than OpenVPN.
- Cloudflare WARP – does not provide a static IP but hides your traffic.
- ProtonVPN (free plan) – limited speed but stable.
