Sync Github and Wordpress

Hello guys, my name is Samuel and I have project. Basically, me and my friend are trying to make a website with Wordpress, I am going to edit the site mainly programming, in vs code, while my friend is going to change everything on the website with the blocks editor. The problem is that, when I push some code to github, I don't know how to automatically send the changes to our website, I don't know how to automatically push my friend's changes to my github repo either. Do you guys think Forge Laravel would be a good choice? If yes, how can I setup everything and if not, what do you guys recommend for me?
