Google PageSpeed Module

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the Google pagespeed nginx module in combination with forge. I've tried couple of options suggested here, but invariably it leads to the server failing to (re)start nginx.

I was able to "successfully" build nginx with the module using these steps (both automated and manual), after which nginx is able to (re)start, but the pagespeed module is still unavailable afterwards.

Has anyone tried to use this (or other nonstandard nginx modules) with forge?
