I assume you want to use ssh credentials. You then need to use the git address (ssh)
On the github repo page, click download, set it to ssh, and copy the correct address

Cant Install a new repository in my new domain
I created a new site in my server in aws through laravel forge and i cant install the repository via laravel forge.
This is the error: fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No such file or directory
I tried installing the repository manually via ssh directly into our aws server but it doesnt reflect into my forge dashboard.

@Sinnbeck no. i am installing a new repository in my new site in forge using the form provided in forge. but forge doesnt seem to know where to find my username when trying to install my new repository.
I tried doing it manually via ssh and it works fine. the only problem is my application in forge's ui is still a fresh site.
