@gbelot2003 So, if I remember correctly, this is a development feature that lets the browser give more useful error messages about errors in React. I enabled it by having my webpack.mix.js file as follows:

mix.js('resources/js/app.js', 'public/js')
    .sourceMaps()
	.react()
	//etc....

You can disable source maps in production (but not in development) by adding

GENERATE_SOURCEMAP=false

to your .env file. (See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51984146/how-to-disable-source-maps-for-react-js-application and https://create-react-app.dev/docs/advanced-configuration/ the StackOverflow question is not Laravel specific, but it doesn't matter in this case.)

Having source maps running is also why, in development mode, you will see a lot of your console.log statements get executed twice (this is not actually affecting how to app works).
