I have a bug in one of the blade components that seems to have been created after implementing logic in this section:

'Attempt to read property "slug" on null (View: /var/www/html/resources/views/components/category-button.blade.php)'

This error is generated specifically from the use of x-category-button in post-card.blade.php. The use of the same blade component in post-featured-card.blade.php works fine. For the time being, I've commented out the use of the component in post-card.

I think this may be caused by the {{$attributes->merge()}} directive used in the post-card component, but I can't be sure:

I've renamed the $attributes variable defined in PostController's store action to a distinct name ($postattributes) to avoid confusion, and this has provided a partial fix:

The x-category-button now renders fine in the post-card component, but only when a category filter is applied.

However, I can't understand how to fix this problem to render the homepage (unfiltered) successfully.
