Upgrading to Livewire 4 with Jetstream

I recently upgraded to laravel 13, jetstream 5.5 and tailwind 4. I have the latest Livewire 3 version and Im looking to upgrade to Livewire 4, cos its pretty neat, I love the new features, I think they are game changers. I know that Jetstream's UI is built out of Livewire components and Im pretty sure those are written for v3.

My question is, can I cleanly upgrade to v4 and what steps do I need to take regarding Jetstream? Im not using a lot of Jetstream features, I have it mostly for the login, registration, password confirmation processes and the browser sessions. I dont use teams, or MFA, and I make my own APIs and profile management.

Seems like the update went smooth, I have replaced the jetstream profile photos features with my own, as well as using custom jetstream routes. Everything is working as intended so far. Next step would be completely getting rid of Jetstream files and features from my project. Learned my lesson about starter kits

Since you want to get rid of Jetstream, for a bit of help, you can install a demo/dev project based on the Livewire starter kit and then use it as a base to implement the required features (login, registration, etc.) in your old project.

It is easier than reinventing the wheel. :)
