Life time membership for long term members

I'm now in to year seven of my annual membership and wonder if there is anyway to take lifetime membership from being in this state? I recall a couple of years back there was discussions about upgrading those on the leaderboard, but don't think anything happened about it.

Would love to lock this down but, having spent a lifetime in laracasts already, would like to get it down as a subscription.
