Laracast subscription and Black Friday

Hi,

My account is due for another yearly charge on 26 Nov. There was a Black Friday deal which I opted for last year. I would like to take the same discount if it comes again.

Is it coming?

What if it is coming after 26 Nov? Should I cancel now so I don't get charged standalone price if the discount is around the corner?

Keep up the good job.

If there is no discount this year I will just cancel subscription... Unfortunately :(

Black Friday this year is in Nov 27th (last November's Friday).

I don't know if there will be a discount this year, but it is a one-day wait

No idea how much reduction you got from the Black friday deal, but clearly you see value in the subscription

If you do not want to renew automatically on the 26th, you can cancel. In that case you lose access to videos, etc that need subscription, but surely other features are still available.

If on the 27th a black friday promotion is offered, you can still take advantage of that... In that case you just didn't have access to subscription based content for a day..

If no promotion is done, just ask yourself is it really NOT worth the difference?

worth it = subscribe for another year or monthly or lifelong
not worth it = nothing changes (you might change opinion in future or promo comes up)

@jeffreyway my annual subscription renews in January. am I able to take advantage of black Friday deal if I renew it early?

am also toying with whether to go lifetime membership as i'm coming up for my 4th year of renewal in NY. Did you say you were planning on adding some perks for leaderboard top 50 users soon so wondering how this may affect my renewal costs?

Hi @automica , I am in the "Forever" subscription plan for sometime now, but before taking this route I did one time signed up for a discounted yearly plan and had it added to the remaining time I had from the last billing cycle.

I guess you can try checking-out (as in a cart checkout) and confirm this before submitting the checkout page.
